This is a picture of WingAndAPair, under construction. It’s a prototype catamaran powered by a rigid wing. The left side of the pic provides a glimpse of one hull. To the right is the wing, prior to receiving its covering. In the center is the cabin structure, which spans the two hulls, and provides torsional rigidity to the entire boat. The hulls collapse inward for transport on roads. The wing is carried on a separate trailer and is plugged into a receiver built into the cabin structure.

Other things this pic:

Near the bottom of the pic, and part of the cabin structure, is a nacelle, which holds the anchor, anchor rode, and batteries. It also serves as a structure for support of two small trampolines.

To the right of the nacelle are two carbon fiber trim wing segments. They, joined with 4 others, will be attached to the main wing and serve to set the angle of attack of the main wing. Above the cabin are solar cells that charge batteries used for propulsion, bow and stern thrust, and house loads.
